Impaxio in Top Ten of the Swiss IC Award 2024

Impaxio in Top Ten of the Swiss IC Award 2024

Impaxio was selected as a top ten candidate for the Swiss IC Award 2024! 🏅 The IC Award recognises and celebrates Swiss start-ups and SMEs that are making a difference in addressing global challenges.

“Doing the right thing, and doing it right”. This was the central message delivered by Swiss Minister of Foreign Affairs (Ignazio Cassis) during the IC Forum award ceremony on April 11th 2024 in Basel, Switzerland.

We fully agree. But, doing that requires data and timely insights, which are difficult to get in a development context.

With Impaxio, we help organizations tackle this challenge. During the IC Forum, we got to showcase our solution at the Forum's marketplace.

Here is what we learned from two days of discussions with international organizations, NGOs, businesses and researchers working in a development context.

  1. Many organizations (of all sizes!) are looking for ways to gather feedback at scale and doing so repeatedly over time
  2. A key goal is to accelerate learning to improve programmes and impact
  3. Increased focus on participatory approaches requires direct feedback from project participants
  4. More and more demand for data-driven insights also from donors / fundraisers
  5. Yet, many organizations face the same challenge when gathering feedback: Access to large number of beneficiaries is difficult (e.g. travel distance, budget/staff limitations, security concerns), limiting options to collect feedback at scale.

It was great to discuss how Impaxio can help organizations reaching their audience with our user friendly SMS and WhatsApp survey platform. We are much looking forward to new collaborations emerging from the Forum!

Congratulations to all other nominees and the winners of the Award! More information.
